Kling AI Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and What Fashion Brands Actually Pay
Disclosure: Can Bayrak is the founder of Kayrae, a Kling alternative for fashion brands. Every Kling price and rule below is cited to Kling's own pages or a dated third-party source, checked on 6 October 2026.
How much does Kling AI cost? Kling AI has a free Basic plan, then Standard at $8.80/month (660 credits), Pro at $32.56/month (3,000 credits), Premier at $80.96/month (8,000 credits) and Ultra at $159.99/month (26,000 credits), with cheaper first months. A 10-second 1080p Kling 3.0 clip uses about 80 credits, credits expire monthly and fees are non-refundable.
TL;DR: Kling AI pricing
- Plans: Basic (free), Standard, Pro, Premier and Ultra, each with a discounted first month for new subscribers (Kling credit cost guide, 28 July 2026).
- Credits: Kling 3.0 video costs roughly 6 to 12 credits per second depending on resolution and audio, and 4K costs 30 credits per second.
- Expiry: membership credits last one month; purchased credit packs last two years (Kling Credits Policy).
- Refunds: once a membership or credit purchase is activated, the fee is non-refundable (Kling Terms of Paid Service, 21 April 2026).
- For fashion: Kling's own fashion guide says references "do not guarantee that every seam, print, logo, or material detail will remain identical", so budget for re-generations.
Kling AI plans and prices
Checked against Kling's credit cost guide (published 28 July 2026) on 6 October 2026. Kling's live membership page only shows prices after it loads in your account, so it could not be read directly. Yearly prices come from eesel (last edited 5 June 2026) and match Magic Hour (checked 13 September 2026, competitor-authored).
| Plan | First month | Monthly after that | Billed yearly | Credits a month | Cost per 100 credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $0 | $0 | – | No monthly credits; daily login credits | – |
| Standard | $6.99 | $8.80 | $79.20 | 660 | $1.33 |
| Pro | $25.99 | $32.56 | $293.04 | 3,000 | $1.09 |
| Premier | $64.99 | $80.96 | $728.64 | 8,000 | $1.01 |
| Ultra | $127.99 | $159.99 | Not verified | 26,000 | $0.62 |
Three things to know before you buy:
- The headline price is a first-month offer. Kling's guide labels each discounted price "first-subscription discount only" and lists the higher renewal price next to it. Budget on the renewal price.
- Basic output is not for commercial use. Kling lists "generated content is not for commercial use" on Basic and "for commercial use" on every paid plan, along with watermark removal and 1080p.
- Kling 4.0 is arriving now. Kling announced Kling 4.0 on 30 September 2026, with the full model "coming in October 2026". It had not published 4.0 credit costs on the pages we checked.
How many credits a Kling video costs
Credits depend on model, resolution, length and audio. For Kling 3.0, eesel lists 6 credits per second at 720p and 8 at 1080p, rising to 9 and 12 with native audio. Those ratios match Kling's own API pricing (accessed 6 October 2026), and Kling itself states 4K at "30 credits per second".
At Pro's renewal rate of $1.09 per 100 credits:
| Kling 3.0 clip | Credits | Approx. cost on Pro |
|---|---|---|
| 5 seconds, 720p, no audio | 30 | $0.33 |
| 5 seconds, 1080p, no audio | 40 | $0.43 |
| 10 seconds, 1080p, no audio | 80 | $0.87 |
| 10 seconds, 1080p, native audio | 120 | $1.30 |
| 10 seconds, native 4K | 300 | $3.26 |
On paper that is cheap. The real question for a fashion brand is how many attempts it takes to get one clip you can publish.
What a usable fashion clip really costs
Kling's own fashion e-commerce workflow (27 August 2026) is unusually candid. It says reference images "do not guarantee that every seam, print, logo, or material detail will remain identical", and tells brands to approve stills first, run three test videos, and check results for "garment changes" and "character drift" before scaling. Its credit guide adds that budgets should treat "retries, and review cycles" as part of production.
Kling's Credits Policy refunds credits when a generation fails. A clip that finishes but shows the wrong logo or a shifted print is not a failure, so those re-runs are paid.
Here is an illustrative budget for one 10-second 1080p clip (80 credits) on Pro. The number of takes is an assumption, not a measured rate:
| Takes until the garment is right | Credits per usable clip | Cost on Pro | Usable clips from 3,000 credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 80 | $0.87 | 37 |
| 3 | 240 | $2.60 | 12 |
| 5 | 400 | $4.34 | 7 |
Scale that to a 20-piece drop with three shots each (full body, half body, detail). At 5 seconds, 1080p and three takes per shot, that is 7,200 credits, which needs Premier at $80.96 rather than Pro. Stills you approve first and test runs add to that total.
Credits, expiry and refunds
- Membership credits expire after one month from the day they are issued, and 7-day membership credits after 7 days (Credits Policy).
- Daily login credits reset at midnight. Kling issues them on your first login each day but does not publish a fixed amount on its policy page; eesel puts it at 66 credits a day for free users.
- Purchased credit packs last two years, which makes them the better buy ahead of a busy season.
- No refunds once activated. Kling's Terms of Paid Service say "the fee paid for the Paid Service is non-refundable."
- Cancel before renewal. Plans renew automatically. Cancel through "Manage my subscription" (Stripe), or in iOS or Google Play settings, before the billing date.
Commercial use, ownership and training
Kling's Terms of Service (updated 21 April 2026) say you own your content and Kling does not claim ownership (section 4.4). But they also:
- say that without Kling's written permission you may not use output for commercial purposes (4.6), and that output should carry the Kling AI label (4.5). Paid plans list commercial use, so check how the two fit for your contract;
- give Kling a royalty-free licence to your input and output (4.7.1);
- allow Kling to use your input to "create, test, improve, train" its AI models (4.7.3), which you can revoke by emailing support@kling.ai (4.7.4).
For unreleased collections, that last point deserves a conversation with your legal team before you upload.
Kling AI review: what it does well and what users say
Kling is one of the strongest general AI video models available. Kling 3.0 generates up to 15 seconds with native audio and lip sync, adds 4K and multi-shot scenes, and Kling 4.0 extends this to 30 seconds, up to 15 reference assets and 10 keyframes (Kling). Motion and physics are its strengths, and Kling now offers fashion-specific API tools such as "AI Apparel Replicator" (API pricing). It is popular enough that resellers carry it: Higgsfield sells access to it as "Try Kling 3.0 on Higgsfield" (see our Higgsfield pricing breakdown).
| Source | Rating | Reviews | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| App Store (US) | 4.7 / 5 | 31,544 | 6 October 2026 |
| Google Play | 4.5 / 5 | About 600K | 6 October 2026 |
| Trustpilot (klingai.com) | 1.2 / 5 | 404 (90% one-star) | 6 October 2026 |
| Trustpilot (kling.ai) | 1.6 / 5 | 28 (unclaimed) | 6 October 2026 |
App users rate the experience highly. Trustpilot reviewers, who skew towards paying customers with a problem, report credits spent on unusable output, charges after cancelling, no refunds and slow support. G2 blocked our request, so it is not included.
On logos and text, Kling's own 4.0 announcement says text and logos now "remain clearer and more stable during camera movement", which is a fair admission that this was a weak spot before. For fashion, the fashion workflow guide quoted above is the clearest statement: check every seam, print and logo yourself.
When Kling is the better choice
- You make cinematic, narrative or character-led video, where motion, physics and dialogue matter more than an exact garment match.
- You need long single takes: 15 seconds on 3.0 and up to 30 seconds on 4.0.
- You want the lowest cost per second and have someone in-house who writes prompts and reviews every frame.
- You build your own pipeline on Kling's API, or already pay for a platform that resells Kling.
- The product is loose or logo-free, so small drift in prints or labels does not matter.
Paying for Kling to make product and fashion video? Kayrae keeps every logo and label true to the garment, with no prompting. Plans start at $19/mo. View pricing
A fashion-first option
If you are paying for Kling mainly to make product and fashion video, and re-running clips to fix logos, prints and labels, Kayrae is built for that one job. Its starting point is garment fidelity: a reviewer agent grades each frame for problems such as logo drift, seams and fabric fall, and re-runs failures (Kayrae products). There is no prompting: you pick model, scene and light from pictures, and Batch keeps the same model, light and art direction across a whole collection.
Kayrae is an AI creative performance platform for fashion brands, not just an image generator. It learns your brand's visual identity and creative taste, generates content around it, tracks how that content performs, and uses those signals to make the next campaign smarter.
| Kling AI | Kayrae | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry paid plan | Standard, $8.80/month after a $6.99 first month | Starter, $19/month |
| Video | Credits per second, by model, resolution and audio | Pro includes video from the same credit balance |
| Unused credits | Membership credits expire after one month | Roll over up to twice your billing period's allowance |
| Cost before generating | Varies by settings | Exact credit cost shown before you generate |
| Logo and garment checks | You review every clip yourself | Reviewer agent grades each frame and re-runs failures |
| Data use | Terms allow training on your input unless you revoke | No training on your content unless you opt in |
| Ownership | You own content; commercial use governed by terms and plan | Output is yours to use commercially, even after you cancel |
"The consistency across a hundred-SKU collection is what sold us. Not one reshoot." Marco Rinaldi, Creative lead
Generation models change every month. What compounds is your brand's taste and your own performance data, and that is what Kayrae is built on.
Kayrae plans: Starter $19/month, Pro $89/month, Studio $299/month, Enterprise custom. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. See also our guide to the best AI fashion video tools and our Higgsfield alternative for fashion.
Sources and methodology
Kling plan prices and credit allowances were taken from Kling's own credit cost guide (28 July 2026) and checked on 6 October 2026; the live membership page loads prices only inside an account. Yearly prices are from dated third-party sources. Per-second credit rates come from eesel and were cross-checked against Kling's API price ratios and its official 4K figure. Re-generation budgets are illustrative assumptions, not measured rates. Prices change often, so check Kling's live page before you buy.

Is Kling AI free? Kling has a free Basic plan with daily login credits that reset at midnight, but Kling lists Basic output as not for commercial use. Paid plans add commercial use, watermark removal and 1080p video.
How many credits does a Kling video use? For Kling 3.0, about 6 credits per second at 720p and 8 at 1080p, or 9 and 12 with native audio. Native 4K costs 30 credits per second. A 10-second 1080p clip without audio uses about 80 credits.
Do Kling AI credits expire? Yes. Membership credits expire one month after they are issued, daily login credits reset at midnight, and purchased credit packs last two years. Credits for failed generations are refunded, but a finished clip with a wrong detail is not counted as a failure.
Can I get a refund from Kling AI? Kling's Terms of Paid Service say that once a membership or credit purchase is activated, the fee is non-refundable. Plans renew automatically, so cancel before the renewal date.
Is Kling AI good for fashion brands? Kling is a strong general video model with excellent motion. For fashion, Kling's own guide says references do not guarantee that every seam, print, logo or material detail stays identical, so brands should review each clip and budget for re-generations.
